My beekeeping journey
From childhood passion to a professional apiary
Bees have been a part of my life since my earliest years. In our family garden, surrounded by blooming plants and shrubs, stood beehives that always fascinated me. These small insects, working with incredible precision and harmony, continuously intrigued me. I was captivated by their well-organized society, where each bee had its task and role, and all worked together to survive.
As a teenager, I had my first hives, which marked the beginning of my beekeeping journey. I wanted to understand the life cycle of bees, learn how a bee colony functions, how they communicate with each other, and how their work translates into producing honey. It’s truly amazing how such small creatures can create something as valuable as honey—something we can gratefully enjoy.
Year after year, my passion grew. I began studying bees through books, talking with more experienced beekeepers, and above all—learning from my own mistakes. Beekeeping is not easy; it requires deep commitment. One must truly understand the bees, their needs, and their rhythm of life to create the best possible conditions for them. Theoretical knowledge is important, but most of what I know comes from daily hands-on work—observing their behavior and responding to changing weather and seasonal conditions.
Thanks to years of experience, I’ve developed my apiary to a professional level. Today, I have apiaries in various picturesque locations throughout the Beskid Mały region and its surroundings. Beskid Mały is a region of exceptional ecological purity—full of forests, meadows, and wild nature, far from pollution and intensive agriculture. It is in these conditions that my bees collect nectar and honeydew, ensuring the highest quality of our products.
From our apiaries, we harvest a wide range of honeys with diverse health benefits and flavor profiles. Our selection includes deciduous and conifer honeydew honey, multifloral honey, dandelion honey, acacia blends, rapeseed honey, and goldenrod honey. In spring, we also collect bee pollen, a true superfood rich in vitamins, minerals, and protein.
Migratory beekeeping
Our bees are Carniolan queens, known for their gentleness, resistance to disease, and remarkable efficiency in collecting nectar. We move our hives to various locations across the Beskid Mały region, allowing us to produce honey with diverse properties depending on the local flora. This gives our honey a rich flavor and aroma, reflecting the botanical wealth of the Beskids.
Each season brings new challenges but also new opportunities. Sometimes it’s an intense harvest of linden honey, other times it’s conifer honeydew collected deep in the forest. Each of these products is unique and offers not only taste but also health benefits.
